What began as a dream now has an address.
Reverie was born from Fondre, a patisserie that started as one woman's obsession with making desserts that moved people. What began in a small kitchen with hand-tempered chocolate and meticulously layered pastries grew into something the Northeast hadn't seen before: a place where the dessert bar sits alongside a full kitchen and a craft cocktail bar, with live music filling the space between bites.
Located on the 5th floor of NRB City Mall at Six Mile, Reverie is built on the belief that dining should be more than a meal. It should be an experience that engages every sense. The food is rooted in Indian cooking but doesn't stay in one lane. Expect familiar flavors done with precision, and the occasional experimental dish that surprises you. The cocktails are crafted. The desserts are art. And the music makes it all feel like a scene from someone's most beautiful evening.
This isn't fine dining in the traditional sense. There are no stiff tablecloths or hushed tones. Reverie is warm, intimate, and alive. A space where you come for the food and stay because the night feels too good to end.
Malin Timungpi has been shaping the dessert landscape of Northeast India long before Reverie existed. Trained at the Lavonne Academy of Baking Science & Pastry Arts, she founded Fondre Patisserie with a simple conviction: that every creation should be made fresh, with the finest ingredients, and with a level of care that people can taste.
That conviction earned her a place as a jury member of the G Plus Food Awards for pastry, and a reputation across the region for desserts that are as technically precise as they are beautiful. With Reverie, she's taken that same philosophy and expanded it into a full sensory experience: a space where her desserts meet bold Indian cooking, expertly crafted cocktails, and the energy of live music.
Reverie is the evolution of everything Fondre stood for. Just with a bigger kitchen, a bar, a stage, and a dream that finally has room to breathe.
